The purpose of the role

What the role involves

To ensure all administration, internal and external and complex enquiries are delivered as a quality service. To provide support for Kennel Club Accredited Trainers and Approved Presenters by preparing and coordinating the issue of paperwork for seminars, advertising seminars and ensuring that The Kennel Club website and Journal are kept up to date as required. To provide administrative support for relevant Kennel Club Committees as required relevant to Judges Education and prepare briefing papers, reports, and presentations as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across various levels of reporting structures
  • Ability to work to multiple strict deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills, including troubleshooting
  • Experience collating statistics and information, and summarising results
  • Desirable experience of working in an industry governed by regulations

We're looking for an Education and Training Officer who has a good eye for detail and previous experience of working in an administrative role within a busy office ideally in a regulatory position. An enthusiastic, self – motivated individual, someone who can work well under pressure, with proven organisation skills. The role requires someone who is a team player and willing to help others when the need arises but confident to work independently on their own initiative. Previous experience working with volunteers and organising meetings would be useful but not essential.

What the role of a Support Assistant involves:

  • Actively contributing to ongoing CRM system improvement efforts, identifying areas for enhancement, and assisting in the implementation of solutions in the Power Platform
  • Assisting with the management and maintenance of CRM products, working alongside the Digital Product Manager to support online shop items and data collection
  • Prioritising and managing workload effectively to meet project deadlines, whilst being able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills
  • Working alongside the Digital Transformation team in regarding brainstorming sessions, problem solving and creative thinking
  • Providing post-deployment support for operational systems, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring smooth functionality after internal or external development
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders about changes and updates to processes, systems, products, and services

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have strong IT skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Have extensive experience with Petlog and/or Kennel Club systems and processes.
  • Experience of managing several projects and tasks at one time.
  • Have experience of delivering support of new systems/functionality to individuals and wider groups.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Have an understanding of policies and following GDPR guidelines.

We're looking for a Support Assistant who can work alongside other members of the team and take ownership of the tasks that are assigned. Someone who can assist in the continuous development and support of the current CRM systems whilst being able to promote digital technology. An interest and knowledge in the canine world would be useful but is not essential as full product training will be given.

What the role involves
The role of the Production Officer is to develop and enhance educational content on our online learning platform, The Kennel Club Academy. Development focuses on judges’ education across The Kennel Club activities such as dog showing, agility, Bloodhound working trials, field trials, obedience, rally, heelwork to music and working trials. Further development includes educational content for The Kennel Club registered societies and ad-hoc projects as they arise.

The project oversees content creation across both pre and post production, including storyboarding and scripting, liaison with volunteers and experts. Additionally, copyright due diligence, through to coordinating and overseeing potential filming day/s, and providing feedback for edits.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Excellent administration experience
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to proofread
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of working in a creative role
  • Ability to create pre production content including scripting/storyboard development and the develop project briefs and quotes
  • Ability to conduct post production reviews of filming outputs
  • Strong IT skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience of providing feedback
  • Understanding of copyright law

We are looking for a Production Officer who has previous experience of working in a creative role within a busy office, ideally supporting and coordinating project activities. An enthusiastic, self–motivated individual, someone who can work well under pressure, with proven organisation skills. Alongside, a strong ability to work to strict deadlines and manage a varied and demanding workload. The role requires someone who is a team player and willing to help others when the need arises but also able to work independently on their own initiative. Knowledge of the competitive canine world would be advantageous, in particular across dog showing.

The successful candidate may be required to attend edit and filming days and may be required to attend further events. This may include travel and overnight stays some of which will be at weekends as required.

What the role involves

Your role within the team will be to ensure that our customers have all the information they require and that they feel valued. 

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience of working within a call – centre environment, inbound and outbound calls.
  • Ability to link and promote products.
  • Experience of supporting customers using web related services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Experience with Microsoft packages and wed – based systems (including web chat and CRM systems).
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and complaints

We are looking for a Client Services Advisor who has excellent time management and organisational skills are a must to succeed in this role, alongside the desire to assist the department to grow moving forward.  You will need to be reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude and be respectful when dealing with internal and external customers. To excel in this role, you will have the ability to work alongside other members of the team and take ownership for the tasks you are given.

An interest and knowledge in the canine world would be useful but not essential as full product training will be given.
